Are real Christmas trees ordered on-line more expensive than those purchased at tree lots?
No. If you calculate the cost of driving to the lot and back, then the driving around trying to get rid of the tree, buying online actually works out cheaper.
How long does a Christmas tree typically last for ?
Our quality Christmas trees should last for four weeks. This will depend on the temperature of the room in which the tree is placed. A water holding stand will keep the Christmas tree fresh for longer.
Do we charge VAT ?
Yes - VAT is charged at 23% and prices quoted on our website are exclusive of VAT.
How are the trees delivered?
We have two vans on the road doing all of our deliveries. All trees are delivered via one of our delivery team direct to your door. Christmas trees are transported fully netted to ensure they hold their shape and avoid damage.
What are the advantages of ordering a real Christmas tree online versus purchasing a tree from a local tree lot?
Trees sold by tree lots are usually cut anywhere from 4-6 weeks prior to their sale. To ensure the freshness of your tree it is hand-selected, freshly cut and shipped within 48-72 hours of acceptance of your order.
Will there be any mess after delivery or collection of the Christmas tree?
No. During the delivery and removal process, the tree is placed in a custom made wrapping, to ensure the area over which the tree has to be carried is protected. In office environments this process is designed to protect surrounding foyers, lifts, stairwells and common areas.
How do you determine the quality of a Christmas tree?
The Christmas Tree Company's trees are guaranteed to be premium or grade one, the highest grades for Christmas trees based on the following characteristics: fresh (e.g., the needles on the Christmas tree are green, pliable and firmly attached), clean (e.g., the tree is not cluttered with foreign material), healthy (e.g., the tree's needles have a fresh, natural appearance typical for the species), well-shaped (e.g., there are sufficient branches in number and length to form a symmetrical cone-shape tapering upward from the base of the tree) and density (e.g., the amount of branches and needles on a tree).
What is a Nordman Fir Real Christmas tree?

These Christmas trees are pruned to give a good full and uniform shape. Each tree is handpicked to ensure the highest level of quality is maintained. The Nordman is also a high elevation tree. Christmas trees grown higher in the mountains receive a good solid frost before harvest so the tree becomes fully dormant. This improves needle retention and maintains freshness for longer.
